Submitting a Nomination

ELIGIBILITY

In order to be eligible for nomination for any of the award categories the nominee must be located within the City/County of Peterborough, or have been founded and still have headquarters here. All qualified candidates are encouraged to nominate themselves, or you may nominate any qualified individual, or business for any of the award categories. Nominees do not need to be members of the Chamber of Commerce. Forms are available online or by calling 705-748-9771 ext 0.

**Please Note: Maximum of 2 nominations (2 categories) per business.  Businesses nominated in multiple categories MUST only select 2 categories to put forth for submission.

Nominations will be accepted Wednesday, April 6th, 2016 - Wednesday, May 25th, 2016 at 4:30pm.

 


TO COMPLETE AND SUBMIT ONLINE: 

  1. Choose your category
  2. Complete the nomination form online
  3. Submit the online form once completed (Part 1 required, and/or complete Part 2 as much as possible).  **For Business Citizen of the Year nominations, please complete both Part 1 & 2; the nomination will not be forwarded to the nominee for review or completion.
  4. If you are self-nominating please complete the entire nomination form (Part 1 & Part 2)
  5. For those categories in which supporting documentation is accepted (Marketing & Promotion, Commercial Development or Renovation, 4-Under-40 Profiles, and Business Citizen of the Year), please email this to or deliver to the Chamber office at , Peterborough.

 

TO Download AND SUBMIT VIA EMAIL:

  1. Choose your category
  2. Click on "Download the Nomination Form".
  3. Save the Word File (.doc) to your computer. 
  4. Fill in the nomination form. 
  5. Save As:PBEA-YOURNAME.doc
  6. Attach the completed Microsoft Office (.doc) form and email to:

  8. For those categories in which supporting documentation is accepted (Marketing & Promotion, Commercial Development or Renovation, 4-Under-40 Profiles, and Business Citizen of the Year), please include this in your email to  or you can deliver it to the Chamber office at , Peterborough.

 

announcement of finalists

Three finalists will be selected for each category*. These finalists will be announced in the Peterborough Examiner on Thursday, August 11th, 2016.  Only the 3 finalists chosen for each category will be notified by the Chamber prior to this date.   

*Except: Business Citizen of the Year, 4-Under-40 Profiles, and Student Business Leadership Bursary Recipients, who will be announced at the Awards Ceremony.
