In recognition of a business with significant local focus in their enterprise, either through manufacturing product locally, or retailing/utilizing products, and/or services produced locally, as well as their community involvement; with their primary focus being sourcing product and/or services locally first, and that the ideal candidate has an internal policy to support this.

The Chamber staff will not request additional information to support the nomination, but do reserve the right to contact the nominee to verify facts. Finalists will be announced in The Peterborough Examiner on Thursday, August 11th. Only the 3 finalists chosen for each category will be notified by the Chamber prior to this date (with the exception of the 4-Under-40 profiles and the Business Citizen of the Year who will be announced at the Awards Ceremony).
